ANNOUNCEMENTS

Girls track athletes must turn in their uniforms TODAY, or you will not be able to check out of school until Monday, May 20th.

Avera St. Anthony’s will again be offering sport physicals again this summer.  Students will need to bring a urine sample and the cost if free if you get your physical on one of the following dates.  Wednesday June 12 and Thursday July 18th from 5:30- 7:30 at the hospital.  All  student in grades 7-12, involved in an PE class or athletics are required to have a physical to participate during the 2013-14 school year.     

Elkhorn Valley Medical Clinic will be offering sports physicals on Wednesday August 7 from 5-7 pm at the clinic.  Cost is $5 and students need to bring a urine sample.

Mrs. Mann has some FCCLA T-Shirts for sale.  $8.00 - first come first served!

Juniors, there will be class meeting at the beginning of the 4th period check out on Friday.  We will meet in the lecture hall, and attendance WILL be taken.  Your sign out sheets will not be signed unless you have met with Mrs. Gotschall and have the information.  If you will be gone Friday, please see Mrs. Gotschall before you leave.

Football players will check out football equipment TODAY for High School.

All students interested in participating in one-act play and/or musical for the 2013-2014 school year, there is an informational meeting TODAY at 3:45 in the music room.  Refreshments will be provided.

Girls track uniforms and sweats need to be checked in to Mr. Peterson TODAY.  

Any student in grades 8-11 that is interested in wrestling for next season please meet in Mr. Corkle's room (room 324) on Monday, May 13th right after school to discuss summer plans.  Treats loaded with calories will be served.

Monday:  Please report to your 1st period class on time.  Students will be released at 8:20 a.m. to report to the gym to hear  from our 2013-14 Student Council President.  On Tuesday-May 14th, students will vote for the slate of other candidates.  Several political posters are located around the building to familiarize yourself with all these other candidates.  Please be respectful to all candidates and their posters so that everyone will be informed about the election on Tuesday.  Be sure to vote.  Thanks!

Student Council Members: We need to get together to talk about nominations for Teacher of the Year and elections for Student Council this spring. Please come for doughnuts and discussion Thursday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Troester's room. 

MAPS Testing for grades 7, 8, 9, and 10,  May 1st.  9th and 10th Grade report to their classrooms by 8 a.m. and will be done and dismissed by 11:30.  7th and 8th grade will report to their classrooms by 12 p.m. and be dismissed at 3:27.  Testing locations will be posted on Mrs. Braun’s door and the bulletin boards across the hall from her office.   Make up Testing for MAPS will be May 7th in the library, all day.
